Rhea was keen on writing the words that came to us with silt. Silt that the river brings, carries and leaves behind. Silt is not homogenous. It is a confluence of particals: mountains, chemical elements, animal and plant remains, waste, construction debris, metal and minerals. Whether welcome as part of a rivers nourishment or othered as pollutant, all these things flavour a rivers essence.
We drew from our stories about a relationship, history, dependency and lack, to select what we considered Rasa.
